Episode 39 - Dystopia Mini Series Intro

Sage and Thyme launch a brand-new, much-awaited (by them, anyhow) mini series encompassing literature, film, and the dark underbelly of society and oppressive power regimes. That's right; it's time to briefly skim the surface of dystopias!

The duo begin with an overview of dystopia's history and evolution as a genre and then tackle eight of its most prevalent tropes. They discuss some well-known examples and comment on how dystopian works have powerful ties and messages to modern day realities.
